Prest Rallies Niger Delta for Tinubu’s ‘Re-Election Bid’

Warri-born business mogul and Chairman/National Coordinator of the Ijaws, Urhobos and Itsekiris 4 Tinubu 2027, Chief Anthony Prest Tosan, is set to launch the Ijaws, Urhobos and Itsekiris 4 Tinubu 2027 Organisation, a significant move ahead of the 2027 polls.

This initiative aims to rally support from the three ethnic groups for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.

The launch of this organisation is particularly noteworthy given the complex history and dynamics between the Ijaws, Urhobos, and Itsekiris. By bringing these groups together under a unified banner, Chief Tosan’s effort would help foster greater cooperation and understanding among the ethnic groups.

Speaking with newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, Chief Tosan who is also the Chairman and National Coordinator, Pan Africanism 4 Tinubu 2027 organisation described President Tinubu’s vision as one of a bloodless revolution, seeking to liberate Nigeria from the shackles of economic and political dependence on foreign powers, ushering in a new era of self-determination and prosperity.

He noted that: “This bloodless liberation is rooted in Tinubu’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive and equitable society, where every Nigerian has access to opportunities and resources. By promoting economic growth, reducing poverty, and strengthening institutions, Tinubu aims to empower Nigerians to take control of their own destiny.”

For Chief Tosan, President Tinubu’s leadership represents a beacon of hope for a brighter future, where Nigeria will be free to forge its own path to realize its full potential, adding that Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s extensive experience living and working within the Nigerian system has equipped him with a profound understanding of the country’s intricacies.

“The unique blend of local insight and global awareness makes President Tinubu an exceptional leader, well-positioned to navigate Nigeria’s complex challenges. As a seasoned politician, Tinubu has demonstrated his ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

“His commitment to creating a brighter future for all Nigerians is evident in his efforts to stabilize the economy and ensure that its benefits reach every citizen. With his comprehensive grasp of the Nigerian system and global perspective, Tinubu is poised to drive meaningful change and progress in the country.

“Nigeria stands proudly as the world’s only fully self-sufficient nation governed and operated by its indigenous black population. Therefore, we take pride in our autonomy, successfully managing our own financial institutions (banks), aviation, healthcare systems, and all other aspects of our national infrastructure. This remarkable achievement showcases the resilience, resourcefulness, and determination of the Nigerian people.

“Nigeria today is witnessing a transformative era under Tinubu’s leadership, with tangible evidence of government initiatives everywhere, revamping infrastructure to innovative financial policies, enhanced security measures, and unprecedented economic expansion, Tinubu’s visionary approach is yielding remarkable results. Let Nigerians exercise some patience with the current administration.

“President Tinubu’s commitment to fighting corruption has also earned us recognition, with Nigeria improving its standing in the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index, a testament to his unwavering dedication to transparency and accountability.

“By driving progress and self-determination, Tinubu is boldly asserting Nigeria’s independence from external influences, proving that the nation can thrive without being swayed by Western propaganda agenda The Asiwaju-led administration has indeed made significant strides in a remarkably short period, demonstrating Nigeria’s steady march towards true independence, growth, and prosperity.

“This newfound momentum is a testament to the administration’s commitment to transformative leadership and its vision for a brighter Nigerian future. Under Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria is experiencing a renewed sense of hope and optimism, with various sectors of the economy showing signs of improvement. The administration’s efforts to drive economic diversification, invest in infrastructure development, and promote good governance are already yielding positive results.

“As Nigeria continues on this path, it is essential to acknowledge the country’s complex history and the challenges it has faced, from colonial rule to post-independence struggles. However, with the current administration’s focus on progress and development, Nigerians can look forward to a future marked by increased prosperity, stability, and true independence.

“Under Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria is making history with the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a monumental 700km superhighway that is set to revolutionize the nation’s infrastructure. This game-changing project is connecting major coastal cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Calabar, unlocking trillions of naira in economic value and creating countless job opportunities.

“The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is more than just a transportation route. It is a catalyst for economic growth, trade, and tourism. By bolstering trade routes and enhancing tourism potentials, this project is laying the groundwork for a more vibrant and interconnected economy. Once completed, it will solidify Nigeria’s position as a true economic hub, driving progress and prosperity for generations to come.

“Nigeria has just witnessed a historic milestone; local governments are finally gaining financial autonomy, all thanks to Asiwaju’s unwavering commitment to true governance. This breakthrough is largely due to the Supreme Court’s ruling, championed by Tinubu’s administration, which ensures that local governments receive their full allocations directly.

“This move effectively cuts off the corrupt influence of state governors, who have long hindered grassroots development by controlling funds meant for local governments. With financial autonomy, local governments can now make independent decisions about their financial resources, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficient allocation of resources.

“This game-changing development has the potential to unlock significant growth and development at the local level, allowing communities to drive their own progress and prosperity. Also, Nigeria’s economy is experiencing significant growth, with government revenues more than doubling to exceed ₦9.1 trillion.

“Another major achievement is the reduction in debt servicing costs, which have decreased from 97% to 68% of revenue. This shift has freed up substantial funds for national development, allowing the government to allocate resources more efficiently.

“Our country, under President Tinubu’s leadership, is attracting significant foreign investment, with over half a billion dollars in Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) pouring in. This influx of capital is also a testament to renewing investor confidence in Nigeria’s economy.

“Nigeria’s oil production has indeed reached 1.61 million barrels per day, as confirmed by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC). This milestone is a testament to the country’s efforts to boost its oil production and reduce reliance on imports, “Chief Prest Tosan maintained.
