Executives and members of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Eastern Zone have extend their “heartfelt congratulations” to the newly elected chapter executives in the zone.

In addition, the zone congratulated the National President, Mr. Emenike Kingsley Nwokeoji and the National Executive Committee (NECOM) on the successful conduct of the Eastern Zonal Chapter Elections.

This was conveyed in a press statement issued by the Zonal Coordinator, East, Sir Joshua I. Ahuama, and the Zonal Secretary, East, Dr. Chinyere Okere, on behalf of the association.

The zone also commended the Board of Trustees (BoT), led by Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha and Chief Kingsley Offor, the BoT secretary, as well as the association’s Electoral Committee (ASECO), chaired by Mr. Obiora Elochukwu, for ensuring a transparent, credible, free, and fair election.

“We congratulate the newly elected members of the Eastern Zonal chapter executives of ANLCA. Whether elected or not, all members remain valued contributors to our great association.”

The newly elected ANLCA Eastern Zone Chapter executives include:

*Area I – Dr. Emmanuel Okoh (Chairman), Chief Bright Chikezie, (Vice Chairman), Hon. Leonard C. Nwankwo (Secretary), Nze Clinton U. Anele (Treasurer), Mr. Louis I. Umezuruike (Financial Secretary) and Mr. Uchenna Cassidy Akaraonye (Public Relations Officer).
*Area II Onne – Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku (Chairman), Alhaji Ahmed Zaccah (Vice Chairman), Mr. Igweonu Onyinye C. (General Secretary), Mr. Samuel Amadi (Treasurer), Mr. Obinna Nwachukwu (Public Relations Officer) and Mr. Chinenye Pius Onyemaizu (Fin Sec).
*Port Harcourt International Airport – Sir Charles Onyema Alozie (Chairman), Mr. Bernard Mmeregini Ibenye (Secretary), Mr. Kingsley Nkemjika Eze (Teasurer) and Mr. Olawoye Oladele Omokunle (Financial Secretary).
*Oil and Gas Free Zone – Hon. Eric Aso Kalu (Chairman), Ongwatabo Epoh (Vice chairman), Chukwu Nnanna (Secretary), Okechukwu Uzoukwu (Fin. Sec) and John Ejekwu (Treasurer)
*Enugu – Mr. Chukwudi Ezenna (Chairman)

The statement emphasized that the different factions that existed before the elections should now dissolve, as teamwork is the foundation for collective success.

“To those who emerged as winners, remember that you are not just leaders of those who voted for you but leaders of the entire association. Your responsibility is to unite, not divide, and to carry everyone along in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.”

The statement further stressed that the primary objective remains the advancement of ANLCA, which can only be achieved through unity and collaboration.

“We pray for God’s guidance, wisdom, and direction as you work together to move ANLCA forward. We also urge all members to continue fostering unity, remembering that ANLCA is one family.”

The ANLCA Eastern Zone looks forward to a productive and prosperous tenure under the leadership of the newly elected executives.
