By Our Reporter<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n President of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), Dr. Chinyere Nwoga, has reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to advancing women through strategic partnerships that promote enterprise development, innovation and capacity building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200eDr. Nwoga made this known at the Women Entrepreneurs Accelerate Africa (WEAA) Capacity-Building Summit, organised by Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland in collaboration with Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce in Port Harcourt. \u200eThe programme attracted PHCCIMA members, women entrepreneurs, professionals, start-up founders and business owners from diverse sectors, all united by a shared vision of strengthening women’s participation in economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200eIn her address, Dr. Nwoga stated that PHCCIMA remains committed to creating an enabling environment where women are equipped and supported to thrive. She stressed that genuine empowerment extends beyond rhetoric and symbolic representation, noting that, “true empowerment means dismantling double standards and ensuring that opportunities are earned through demonstrated skill, value and capability.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200e She added that empowered women are powerful drivers of innovation, economic growth and sustainable development.
