{"id":10671,"date":"2023-11-22T16:20:58","date_gmt":"2023-11-22T16:20:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phmundial.com\/?p=10671"},"modified":"2023-11-22T16:20:58","modified_gmt":"2023-11-22T16:20:58","slug":"igali-seeks-better-performance-from-bayelsa-united","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deepstrataenergy.com\/phmundial\/2023\/11\/22\/igali-seeks-better-performance-from-bayelsa-united\/","title":{"rendered":"Igali Seeks Better Performance from Bayelsa United"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>By Amos Odhe, Yenagoa<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bayelsa State commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Champion Daniel Igali, has called on the state-owned clubs Bayelsa United and Bayelsa Queens to up their games as the new NPFL and NWFL intensify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Champion Igali, who gave the charge&nbsp;during a meeting with staff&nbsp;of the ministry, explained the importance of both clubs maintaining the performances the state recorded in the past few years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The world and Olympic champion hinged the charged on the poor performance of Bayelsa United in the NPFL which has seen them win 2 out of 9 matches, and placed them in the relegation zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Igali also called for Bayelsa Queens to continue on the path of being recognised among the best female teams in the country.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The commissioner however commended staff of the ministry for their commitment and service to the state, stressing he has enjoyed unreserved support as commissioner from them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, Igali expressed appreciation to the staff of the ministry for \u201cvoting rightly\u201d at the just concluded governorship election in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by the ministry\u2019s permanent secretary,&nbsp;Mrs Grace Alagoa,&nbsp;heads of department, coaches of Bayelsa United and Bayelsa Queens among other staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Amos Odhe, Yenagoa The Bayelsa State commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Champion Daniel Igali, has called on the state-owned clubs Bayelsa United and Bayelsa Queens to up their games as the new NPFL and NWFL intensify.
